Meet The Staff
David Snyder - President
David was born and raised in Seymour Texas. He and his wife Rhonda have three daughters, they still live and work in Seymour. In 1984 David started a welding business, working with his brother Eddie, they grew the welding business into what today is Snyder Steel. With the growth of Snyder Steel Sales in Seymour, David looked for a suitable area for a second location. Childress Texas, situated between Amarillo and Wichita Falls Texas on Highway 287 seemed the prime location. In 2000 the second location in Childress opened. David spends most of his time at the Childress location, while Eddie and Rhonda work at Seymour. Truly a family operation, David’s daughters can be seen working hard at either store in the summer months.
Rhonda Snyder - CFO
Rhonda grew up in Witchita Falls Texas. She married David in 1986 and moved to Seymour. She and David have three daughters and three grandchildren. She is very active in the First United Methodist Church in Seymour and is a member of the Child Welfare Board. As well as working at both the Seymour and Childress stores, Rhonda manages the Snyder Country Cottage, a daily rental cottage in Seymour.
